Cannabinoids
CBC · Cannabichromene
CBC (cannabichromene) is a non-intoxicating minor cannabinoid that, like CBG, derives from the precursor CBGA. It is one of the supporting compounds that contribute to the full-spectrum profile.
Read →CBD · Cannabidiol
CBD (cannabidiol) is a naturally occurring, non-intoxicating compound found in hemp. It is the most studied cannabinoid after THC and is widely used in wellness products such as oils, gummies and topicals, without producing a “high”.
Read →CBG · Cannabigerol
CBG (cannabigerol) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid often called the “mother cannabinoid” because its acidic form, CBGA, is the precursor the plant converts into CBD, THC and other cannabinoids.
Read →CBN · Cannabinol
CBN (cannabinol) is a mildly active cannabinoid formed as THC ages and oxidises. It is non-intoxicating at the levels used in hemp wellness products and is most commonly associated with evening and sleep-focused formulas.
Read →THC · Tetrahydrocannabinol
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the intoxicating cannabinoid responsible for the “high” associated with cannabis. Hemp-derived wellness products are formulated to contain only trace, region-compliant amounts, or none at all.

Limonene
Limonene is a bright, citrus-scented terpene found in hemp and in the peels of lemons and oranges. It is often associated with uplifting, daytime profiles.
Read →Myrcene
Myrcene is one of the most common terpenes in hemp, with an earthy, slightly fruity aroma also found in mango and hops. It is frequently associated with calming, evening-oriented profiles.
Read →Terpenes
Terpenes are the aromatic compounds that give hemp, and many fruits, herbs and flowers, their distinctive scents. In full-spectrum products they are preserved alongside cannabinoids and are thought to shape the character of the product.

Broad-spectrum
Broad-spectrum CBD contains multiple cannabinoids and terpenes like full-spectrum, but with the THC removed to non-detectable levels. It aims to offer the entourage effect without any THC.
Read →CBD Isolate
CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD, typically 99%+ cannabidiol with all other plant compounds removed. It contains no THC, no other cannabinoids and no terpenes, and is flavourless and odourless.
Read →Full-spectrum
Full-spectrum CBD contains the complete range of naturally occurring hemp compounds, CBD, minor cannabinoids, terpenes and trace, compliant THC. The compounds are thought to work together in what is called the entourage effect.

Science
Bioavailability
Bioavailability is the proportion of CBD that actually reaches your bloodstream after you take it. It varies a lot by format, sublingual oils and inhalation are higher, while swallowed capsules and edibles are lower because of digestion.
Read →Endocannabinoid System · ECS
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a signalling network in the human body involved in regulating processes such as mood, sleep, appetite and the response to stress. Cannabinoids like CBD interact with this system.
