CBG · Cannabigerol
CBG (cannabigerol) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid often called the “mother cannabinoid” because its acidic form, CBGA, is the precursor the plant converts into CBD, THC and other cannabinoids.
CBG is present in smaller amounts than CBD in most hemp, which historically made it more costly to produce. As extraction has improved, CBG has become more common in blends aimed at focus and daily balance.
