A MERY J FRAMEWORK

The Buyer Score™

Most CBD is bought blind. The Buyer Score™ gives you a checklist the industry would rather you didn’t have, tick what a product actually discloses, and see how much you can trust it, out of 100. It works on any brand.

Why these nine things

Each criterion is something a trustworthy brand can prove, and a weak one tends to skip. The heavier the weight, the more it protects you. Items marked as red flags are the ones we’d never buy without.

  • 22Publishes a Certificate of Analysis (COA)RED FLAGIndependent lab results should be public, not "available on request".
  • 14The COA matches the exact batch you’re buyingRED FLAGA generic or old report tells you nothing about your bottle.
  • 10THC content is stated and compliantYou should know if there’s any THC, and that it’s within legal limits.
  • 10Spectrum is clearly stated (full / broad / isolate)This affects effects, THC content and drug-test risk.
  • 12Tests for contaminants (metals, pesticides, solvents)RED FLAGHemp absorbs contaminants from soil, screening protects you.
  • 8Discloses where the hemp is grown / sourcedReputable brands are open about their supply chain.
  • 8Lists every ingredientNo hiding behind “proprietary blend”.
  • 6Gives clear dosage / serving guidanceYou should know how much CBD is in each serving.
  • 10Makes realistic claims (no “cures” or “miracle”)RED FLAGMedical or miracle claims are a serious red flag.
